Why we do what we do
Destination weddings aren’t just about logistics; they need thought, presence, and intuition.
We are passionate about people, stories, and the art of thoughtful design. Every wedding we plan matters to us as much as it matters to you. That is why we take the time to understand what you want and how you want it to feel — shaping every detail so it lands naturally and stays with you.
We plan a small number of weddings each year. Every wedding on our calendar gets our full attention, and only that.
Our clients trust us for our clarity, our aesthetic sensibility, and our ability to execute without fuss — creating celebrations that linger long after the day is over.
The Journey —
What began nearly a decade ago as a vision has grown into something deeply meaningful.
Elsewhere Weddings began with a simple instinct:
to plan weddings that felt like the couple and not like everyone else’s.
What started as instinct — notebook in hand, learning in the field — became, over time, a commitment to do things differently.
We’ve now planned weddings across India for couples from Singapore, New York, London, and San Francisco.
Some were grand celebrations at places like The Oberoi Udaivilas, Mihir Garh, Devigarh, and Taj Jai Mahal Palace.
Others were intimate villa weddings in Goa or quiet ceremonies with just five guests. Or an elopement by the Lake Pichhola.
All of them different. All of them with couple’s vision at center.
With experience came refinement — sharper systems, stronger processes, a team that works with the same values. And through it all, one thing has stayed the same: a wedding should feel like you, and unfold with ease.

This work demands calm — real calm. The kind that holds steady through family opinions, last-minute changes, and the noise of a world where everyone has a reference and a Pinterest board. The job is not to impose a vision but to find yours — and build around it.
Elsewhere Weddings is a small, deeply invested team — thoughtful, experienced, and present. Every wedding is led by either Sunaina or a lead planner she trusts completely, supported by an assistant planner and a crew of three to four on-site. For larger celebrations, the team scales to match.
The involvement stays close from start to finish — shaping, directing, and ensuring every decision reflects the couple’s story. Not ours.
