That’s why we take the time to understand not just what you want, but how you want it to feel, shaping every detail so it feels natural, personal, and quietly beautiful.
We plan only a small number of weddings each year, ensuring our dedicated team can give each one the care and attention it deserves.

The Journey —
What began nearly a decade ago as a vision has grown into something deeply meaningful.
Elsewhere Weddings began with a simple instinct:
to plan weddings that felt like the couple and not like everyone else’s.
In the early years, it was just me learning on the go, managing everything from logistics to décor to vendor negotiations, often in unfamiliar places, always with a notebook in hand.
Over time, that instinct turned into a vision.
A commitment to do things differently.
To slow down. To listen more.
To care not just about how a wedding looked but how it felt.
We’ve now planned weddings across India for couples from Singapore, New York, London, and San Francisco.
Some were grand celebrations at places like The Oberoi Udaivilas, Mihir Garh, Devigarh, and Taj Jai Mahal Palace.
Others were intimate villa weddings in Goa or quiet ceremonies with just five guests.
All of them different.
All of them intentional.
With experience came refinement.
We’ve built systems. Sharpened processes.
Created a team that thinks and works with the same values.
And through it all, one thing hasn’t changed:
our belief that a wedding should feel like you, and unfold with ease.

Hi, I am Sunaina.
I’m Sunaina: founder and creative lead at Elsewhere Weddings.
This work didn’t start with a plan. It started with instinct; a pull toward the kind of work that demands presence, clarity, and care. Over time, that instinct became a practice: reading the room, catching the small things, and holding space for beauty and unpredictability to coexist.
I bring structure, rhythm, and a strong sense of design. But more than that, I bring calm so that you can actually feel your wedding, not just get through it.
I don’t do this alone. We’re a small, deeply invested team; thoughtful, present, and experienced. Every wedding is led by either me or a lead planner I trust completely, supported by an assistant planner and a crew of 3 to 4 on-site. For larger celebrations, we scale the team to match the guest list and the rhythm of the event.
I stay closely involved from start to finish; shaping the vision, directing the design, and ensuring that every decision reflects your story. Whether I’m there in person or guiding quietly from behind the scenes, the process is held with care.
